Thank you so much for visiting my website!

My development as an artist began at the College of the Holy Cross where I studied studio art and economics. This unique blend of creative and analytical thinking in my studies began to manifest itself in my work, with my compositions striking a balance between abstract and realistic elements. The culmination of my studio art major was a large-scale Boston street map painting (featured below), created as a wedding gift for my older sister. There is no greater feeling than making a thoughtful gift for a loved one. This painting visualizes Kaitlyn and Kevin's shared journey, reflecting the significant places and experiences throughout their relationship. This piece not only served as a meaningful representation of their love story, but also perfectly complemented a room in their new home. Following this piece, I became fascinated with how the appropriation of maps can serve as a powerful metaphor for life experiences. Maps are a cartographic representation of place, reflecting how we live and experience the world around us. As a strong visual entity, the map can be used to narrate personal history while simultaneously creating a relatable, yet intricate and visually stunning composition. Exploring the interplay of line and color to weave meaningful personal narratives is the guiding principle of each piece I create. The significance of human interaction and memories experienced within a place are subtly revealed through the intricate details and vibrant color choices in my paintings.

I am excited to work directly with you to map your life or the life of a loved one into a work of art!
